Welcome to my Website!
Come in and sit a spell. Look around and check out my published and soon to be published books. I'm not a famous well-known published author ~ YET! ~ but I love to write and have done so since I was a young girl. Most of my writings are inspirational and deal with the love of God and the beauty that surrounds all of us.
Life is short and we can't take any of it for granted. We have to look for the good in everything. If we dwell on sadness and unhappiness, that is what we will reap. There is so much turmoil and heartache in this world, we have to concentrate on the goodness and beauty that God has bestowed on us, otherwise we will allow the darkness to engulf our lives.
That's what prompted me to write my first book. I started out writing a gratitude journal, trying to make myself aware of the goodness and happiness around me. I looked every day for something to be thankful for and wrote about it. Before long, my journal began to grow. As I concentrated on the good things, I found more and more for which to be grateful. I eventually had enough to fill a book.
I'm a firm believer you get what you say. If you sow happiness, you reap success and gratitude. If you sow sadness, you reap grumblings and defeat. We are responsible for our own happiness. We can't depend on others to make us happy. Happiness is a choice, just as sadness is. I have a choice to respond to my circumstances with happiness or sadness. I may not like the outcome of a circumstance, but how I react to that circumstance, determines what kind of life I will have.
